Baking Cookies with Daddy

Rosie and Daddy got up early the other day and made chocolate chip cookies - YUMMY!  Later that afternoon, Rosie and Mommy had a picnic in the kitchen, eating chocolate chip cookies and juice.  It was a good day.

Washing our Hands

Rosie has taken on a interest in cleanliness, specifically washing her hands.  Its not bad thing, washing hands often does help prevent colds and other random illnesses.  Many times a day we go into the bathroom, Mommy turns on the water and puts soap on Rosie's hands and she washes them.  Then Mommy turns off the water and hands Rosie the towel to dry her hands.  It is quite a production, but we are teaching good hygiene skills, so it's worth it.  As you can see from the pictures below, Rosie really reaches to accomplish this task.

A Day at the Library

Last Saturday we headed to the local library to check it out and see about getting library cards.  We were not able to get library cards, because we don't have Wisconsin driver's licenses yet, but we did get paperwork to fill out so we can get library cards in the mean time.    Anyway, we ventured over the the children's section of the library and found a little play area.  Rose had a good time to playing with large wooden letters, large legos and on the dinosaurs, as seen below.

Yesterday we made it to Family Story Time and we are hoping to go to the story time on Tues. morning for Toddler Story Time.
